How did i research my target audience?
in the pre-production stages of my film i did a focus group.
i got a group of people in my year and asked them to sit around a table with me while i described my film and what i was planning to do throughout the rest of the production stage.

The films i researched in the pre-production stages of my film.
In the pre-production stages of my film i researched such films as:
Nightmare on elm street - i concentrated on sound, this film gave me the idea to use unrecognisable sounds for my own film.
Seven - this film gave me inspiration for my opening titles. With the photo's comming on screen of criminals and strange deaths ect.
Blue velvet - this film gave me inspiration with the location of my film, in the film blue velvet murders happen in a small location in the middle of nowhere.
Sinister - The film sinister gave me inspiration for the ending of my film where the evil character walks off with jump cuts while hes walking.
Insidious - gave me inspiration for all the strange noises throughout the film.

How to use the ipad
how could i use my ipad?
I could use my ipad in media many ways, i could use the camera on it to film scenes or ideas. Take pictures of scenes and other types of useful information. I could use the record button on the sound cloud app to record either notes or sound for my folly. Even use the notepad application to write things down.

Foley
Foley
A technical process by which sounds are
created or altered for us in film, video or other electronically produced
work.
Foley has
potential problems these could be saving the recording in the right format,
quality of the sound.
Foley has advantages
in my case because of the equipment I have access to like the macs and have
recently been given a Ipad2 from school for my media course.
Codes and
conventions
Panting
Unidentified
sounds
Distance noises
Screaming
Shouting

Development of my film
I looked at all the synonyms for death to come up with a title and decided on the punchy title "Demise." This fits in with genre conventions , as other horrors have similar short names.
Below is a draft storyboard. I have made a lot of changes to it. This was just the start of the process.
